History:

 * Wachusett R/C Flyers was formed as a club in 2012 *

 * We have AMA Club Charter #5105 *

 * Originally the club could only fly at Fitchburg Airport and flying there required being an FAA-registered pilot, which limited membership *

* The acquisition of a flying site in Sterling in 2014 has allowed us to open membership to others, including youth and families *

* The club has five licensed instructors, registered with the AMA, to help get new flyers started *
