A New Year and a New Club President!
For those who have not yet met him, come to the meeting on Wednesday 1/18 and say hello to our new club president George Mack. There will also be lots of interesting ideas to discuss for the upcoming year. To update a couple of items: Indoor micro FPV quad racing has been happening on Thursday evenings through much of the late fall and early winter, but it has now moved to Saturday afternoons 2pm - 6pm. The field web cam uptime has been improving greatly, although we are now getting more impact from the lack of sunlight for charging the battery. A weather station has been acquired and we hope to have a preliminary test of that running with the webcam in the not-too-distant future.
Meetings
Meetings going forward are planned to be on an every-month schedule. The Fitchburg Pilots Association has been gracious in allowing us to use its hangar for meetings this past year - directions are given below. Our January, 2023 meeting is scheduled for:
Wednesday, January 18th, 7:00pm,
at the FPA hangar.
Members should have received an email with more details. The following is from an email from our secretary, Al Dean:
------------------
George Mack ,our new President ,has many ideas for future meetings and summer events that we need YOU to be there for your input, suggestions and additional ideas. However we can’t do it alone so please try and make the meeting.
We also have some DVD’s to show and hopefully some of you may bring in the start of a winter project. We are also there to provide any assistance you may need in the construction and building process outside of the monthly meetings.

Directions to the FPA Hangar
Drive to Fitchburg Airport, following the airport signs. As you drive down the access road toward the terminal building the FPA hangar will be to your right at the bottom of the hill. Parking is in the lot between the hangar and the terminal building.
